Here is my favorite of my recent gestures - 2 min sketch with a 6B pencil on A4, trying out the "under palm" grip for looser arm movement:

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that. Gesture sketching often results in interesting results as instinct - the unconscious - is allowed to roam freely.
